She also contributed in the conception of several textbooks and educational documents, and poured herself, body and soul, into teaching not only nephrology, her greatest passion, but also physiology and Hospital care.
Her competences and her dedication for nephrology pulled her to the highest steps of the scientific community. Pr BOURQIA is now a member of many national and international distinguished scientific organizations, notably the French Society of Nephrology, in which she was the first representative of Morocco with the executive board.
She also sits on the International Society of Nephrology, the European Society of Nephrology and Pediatric Nephrology, the World Medical Association, the New York Academy of Sciences, and many others.
This dynamic practionner is also a founding member of many learned societies and associations such as the Moroccan Society of Kidney Diseases and the Mediterranean Kidney Diseases Association.
She is also a representative of Africa within the International Pediatric Nephrology Association, and she greatly contributed to the creation of “The French-speaking African Pediatric Nephrology Network” organizing several African meetings under this same network, and promoting a scientifical dialogue between African and European specialists.
With her insatiable appetite for science, and her hope to generously expand her field of expertise, she takes a training course dedicated for interdisciplinary educators in “Health ethics, human rights and morals” at the University Paris 4.
She then organizes the “First International Symposium of Ethics, Bioethics, and Health Law”, that granted Morocco a seat within the group of states practicing bioethics.
